Aaron Miller's Kickstarter and Thunderclap

The most excellent Aaron Miller is gearing up on a Kickstarter for original and unique collector tokens that can be used in very popular collectible card games. As part of his preparations he is using a social media service called Thunderclap. I had not heard about Thunderclap until looking into Aaron's Kickstarter, but it seems really cool and useful. While Aaron's Kickstarter is not yet live you can go check it out and bookmark it for later...

Aaron is offering a ton of great art on tokens with the possibility for more as the campaign progresses. If you play games like Magic the Gathering, this is your opportunity to get your hands on some very cool and original tokens for use in your game. Aaron is also offering an EXTREMELY rad novelty ooze token...

You can see also watch a video of the ooze token in action!

Now for Thunderclap. Thunderclap is a social media amplifier. By setting up a page or event on Thunderclap you ask for people's support by allowing Thunderclap to use their social media. After you hit your target support goal Thunderclap will you all of your supporters specified social media accounts to send out one notification at a specified date and time. This will create a much larger and more noticed foot print on social media. Instead of scattered and sporadic posts about your event that can be lost, you will have one large blast by a lot of people all at once. This will be a much more noticeable on the social media landscape. More about Thunderclap on their site...

Since Aaron is the one who turned me onto Thunderclap it is only logical that his token Kickstater is the first campaign I have supported on Thunderclap. It was extremely easy to get connected and to support. Literally two-three button clicks and you are good to go and can start supporting you favorite events and organizations. I would strongly urge you to lend your support for Aaron's Kickstarter both on Thunderclap and on the actual Kickstarter once it is live!

That's all for another exciting Wednesday on the blog, see you back here on Friday! Until then...
